What Actually Happens at an All-Keys-Lost Job

Lost both keys is the most stressful version of a key job — but for us it's routine. Here's what an actual visit looks like in DFW:

   Phone intake (5 min). We get your year/make/model, VIN if available, your location, and a photo of your registration. We give you a firm price and an arrival window.

   Dispatch (20–45 min). A van rolls from our nearest tech to your location. North Dallas to most of DFW: 25–40 min. Outer suburbs: up to an hour.

   ID + ownership verification (5 min). Photo ID matching the registration or title. Required by Texas law and our internal anti-theft policy.

   Cut blade from VIN code (10–20 min). We use HPC, Triton, or Miracle key machines to cut your blade from the manufacturer's depth/space code. No need for an existing key.

   Immobilizer authentication & programming (30–180 min). Through OBD-II or, for some European cars, bench programming via the BCM/CAS/FEM/ECU. This is where the time variance comes from. Toyota Camry: 30 min. BMW X5: 2–3 hours.

   Delete old keys + handover. We clear any previously programmed keys (so a lost-and-found key can't start the car later), test all functions, and you drive away.
